We were there during the weekend, it was very crowded. Prefer Shinjuku Gyoen.
NO
Pre-registration is required, but anyone can use it. At the time of registration, I think that there is a confirmation of having rabies vaccination. The enclosure is divided into large dogs and small and medium sized dogs.

You need permission to shoot to make it bigger.
It has become our go to park... Love it
There's always something interesting to see at Yoyogi Park, I've been here twice and enjoy using the docomo bike share scheme to explore the park, and find myself just wandering around enjoying the sights. I'd definitely recommend stopping for a picnic here if you have time and there are usually events and entertainers around to watch.
Nice park. Good place for weekend picnics
After looking for yogi Bear and his picnic baskets for 2 hours I gave up. Had a sandwich and a fanta grape (which I had to buy because of the lack of picnic baskets. Obs yogi stole them all). We sat and watched a guy playing a guitar and singing. Lovely afternoon.
Oh Yoyogi Park, good that we have you the green lung of Tokyo! A lot of art and street performers on the weekends. They also have an adorable dog park where you can watch dogs playing and sometimes you can even pet them! :)
Lovely park that is at its best when there are various festivals on. I wholly recommend attending any of the country festivals that are in every weekend around summer such as the south East Asian festivals. It’s a huge place and there are many nice restaurants and cafes dotted around in hidden parts of shibuya.
Amazingly beautiful place. Definitely a must visit! Only a short walk from several stations.
It’s the best place to see cherry blossoms in Tokyo! Everyone comes here for picnics or to walk their dog. Big tourist attraction.
My favorite park in Tokyo, close to my place. I go there every weekend. There’s usually an event every weekend in the plaza area. Inside the park there is a good mix of walking trails, cycling paths, water and grass. Lovely Yoyogi park!
Lovely park with lots to do and a fantastic view to walk under the trees
Awesome park for a long stroll and perfect for a picnic with friends and family. We have been here several times on our visit to Tokyo to get away from the busy vibe of the city. Facilities and food on site and great for children to roam free within sight. The park and gardens are pristine and well taken care of it by the city. A must for anyone with some spare time.
Enormous and gorgeous park. Definitely worth going to. Perfect spot for a picnic or just to stroll through and escape from the busy surrounding suburbs. It is located between Harajuku and Shibuya, and can be easily walked to from either station. Has lots of chairs, benches, bins and a shop/cafe selling cooked foods, snacks, drinks and alcohol.
this park has everything you are looking for to relax and for any sporting activity it is also a great help for children to enjoy cycling
Nature in city, peaceful place with nature of beauty.
Huge park! A nice place to relax, chill out and go people watching. This park has such a friendly vibe, huge grounds where people can set up for picnics, and safe for children. Also looks really beautiful in fall.
Had a great time with friends there but one of the security guard was very rude & I wish there was more place with roof there so when it rains people can get more protected.
Beautiful metropolitan park featuring lovely cherry blossom trees in-season. Very clean and peaceful, makes a great place to walk around, go for a jog, or just sit and enjoy the nature. There are lots of food stands and free public bathrooms throughout the park.
Perfect park to distress yourself from busy day and life. This is where Japanese and Harajuku people normally do after having super busy and hectic day life. The park itself is huge with beautiful landscapes even it is simple. Very clean public toilet and cafe at the park made you to enjoy own quality time perfectly.
Found this park just walking around the city, it was really cool and amazing just walking through it. Had some locals playing jazz music and people playing frisbee. Great play to hang out and take the day in
Open space with a lot of beautiful trees. A pleace for everyone to enjoy within the city. Walking distance from various downtown locations making it one of the best leisure ground in Tokyo
One of the most underrated locations in Tokyo. Here you get to be like a local and enjoy the view and special events. There was a Christmas market on 25dec 2019 and some food stalls around the place. There was also a Japanese concert like event. Although the event was in Japanese, its still a nice view and nice event overall. Lots of locals there to hang out in the cold winter days. Highly recommended if you are coming as a couple.
This place was so beautiful. We went for an amazing walk here in the hours of dusk and again late in the night or early morning really, always felt safe too. We admired so much this place called Japan. It was so advance, like stepping into the future same time as you transported to the past. They have such a respect for tradition while at the same time they are embracing tomorrow. They integrate the parks and nature into their lives seamlessly as if confidently knowing and understanding the interconnected dependence that all living creatures share with one another. Thank Japan and thanks to my best friend and some new found folks we met along the journey. If there is one thing to want in your best friend, it is a love for travel. Thanks Papa!
If you come to this park you will see the first Cherry Blossoms blooming inside this park. It is in a small area but it was exciting to see and you could see quite a few people excited about it also. This park is at Harajuku and is less than 2 minute walk from the station. Everyone who was here wanted to take their photo with the blossoms. At this park you can see local people relaxing and doing their daily exercises.
Beautiful park with an open field for picnics or play. The park encompasses a large area which has a restaurant and a couple food or ice cream stands. It also showcases past history with statues and plaques.
beautiful park with no admission fee (FREE). if you come during autumn, you can enjoy the gradient color of the tree. I super love it. If you luck enough, you can get in to some festival. The festival mostly held during weekend.
This park is large like the Ueno Park. Yoyogi park is worth to visit if you’re not far from Harajuku Station because this place is just 5-10 minutes walk from the station. Also, this park is free and always open, so you can spend most of your time here from morning till night. I’ve visited this park in autumn and winter and both has different experience especially the weather and the leaves of the trees 😅
Beautiful garden with free entrance. Sadly this year the autumn colours is later than usual. I can only imagine how beautiful it is during peak autumn.
THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING PARK EVER! AND OMG IT HAS THE BEST DOG RUN. AND STAFF ARE AMAZING !! ALSO EVERYONE WHO is there is SUPER AWESOME. What a range of different people from artsy hipster to business person to sporty. You get to meet so many different wonderful kinds of people.
Beautiful park amidst rush ful life and city. Good place to relax and enjoy weather 😊
A large park to relax in after visiting the shrine, it has facilities such as a cycling track and dog park. Very clean as you would expect, but there are little to no bins around so if you bring items that have packaging, such as picnic items you will need to carry them around with you. The dog park is split up into dog sizes and all dogs appear well behaved, if you do not want to use the dog park you can simply walk dogs around the park.
Great spacious park. Lots of festivals happen here. Great view when in cherry blossom and autumn season.
Very cool park, but no equipment for sport activities, at all, no bar for pullups, no place for pushups or abdo :(
Spend most of my days here. Really nice chilled atmosphere and great place to go on a warm day
It's bustling with people, family spending quality time with each other! Great place for couples too and friends to unwind! Went during winter so the flowers haven't bloomed yet but will definitely turn nicer in spring!
The park is very wide and adequate for jogging or biking.I like the entrance from Yoyogi Uehara statikn side. This entrance has also a paid-parkingEntrance if free of charge.Open 24 hours a day.
A beautiful place to walk around that's away from the hustling and bustling city life. Loads of people taking pictures and having picnic when we were there walking and absorbing the scenery. One thing to note, the shrine and park doesn't connect so don't expect to go into one side and pop out the other.
Very beutiful, very active, very big, worth visiting again
Amazing park in the heart of Tokyo!! Beautiful Japanese shrines and temple inside and awesome trees and nature!! Good for walk and relax in this paradise!! 🇯🇵❤️👍
Today we saw a guy with a red beard. We were really excited about that and I thing it will be the new style for summer 2020. The wind was a little bit too strong and I am looking forward for the park owner to fixing that issue asap.
Yoyogi Park is an amazing place to take a stroll and be in touch with nature in the middle of the city. Take a breath of fresh air and stretch those legs. You could see people walking their dogs, dancing, taking photos, having a picnic, biking, jogging and just having conversations. You would be able to see some of the leaves turn to red and experience a bit of autumn now.
Yoyogi Park is a lovely big park in central Tokyo. I was recommended a stroll through it by a friend. The atmosphere there was very relaxed and pleasant. Lovely trees and open areas. Lots of runners, couples and families with their children there. I had some trouble finding my way out of the park as it was so big, and the area I was headed for exit really did not have an exit, which meant that I had to walk several hundred meters for proper exit. Highly recommended for all who just want to have some fresh air and/or take a relaxing break from all the other impressions Tokyo is capable of.
A go to place in Tokyo if you are a nature lover. This time in Autumn is best to see the color leaves and the entire park turned into Yellow. A photo enthusiast like me would enjoy the time here. Just sit and relax on a weekend!
Great cities have lots of green space, and Tokyo is one of the best. I love Yoyogi Park for its natural beauty and the wide variety of things to see and do there. It's wonderful!
Its spacious and had a lot of places to do various sporting acrivities
Nice wide open park. Great place to get away from the hectic city, and sit down for a while. Lots of space for running, biking, and dog walking. Has gardens and ponds with lots of wildlife.
It's a great place to spend weekend with your family. There is also dog run field so you can bring your dog to play with other dogs there
Always a nice choice for chilling and relaxing but too crowded on weekends or sakura season...
Beautiful place people mind their own business quite a hive of activity child friendly spaces as well as for group gatherings
Great place to gather with friends! Open space for picnics and during Sakura season the trees are beautiful!
A very beautiful park to walk around and enjoy fantastic views. My favourite time to go is during Sakura season, because the blossoms are incredibly beautiful. There are often festivals on weekends, and you can enjoy lots of festival food and drinks. It's very clean.
